Chris Spedding

This guy and Billy Gibbons are my two favorite guitarists.

I have been a fan of Chris since the 70s and am particularly fond of his song “Guitar Jamboree” where he features the sound and riffs of all the famous guitarists.

I actually saw Chris play this song live at Max’s Kansas City with an old beatup Les Paul Jr. and a tiny Fender amp with no effects pedals.

Chris’s imitation of Clapton, Hendrix, Townsend on this simple equipment is amazing.

To hear it on his solo album is one thing, to see him play it live is another.
