I first became aware of Man Parrish when I heard some of hs new recordings played at the Mudd Club. Manny was an early pioneer of techno. What is really interesting is that Manny combined techno with Hip-Hop before Hip-Hop had broken out into the mainstream.
Manny also played on Klaus Nomi’s debut LP and Klaus performed on Manny’s debut album that was/is only available on a record label in Belgium”.
This was a shoot for Andy Warhol’s “Interview” magazine.
