Looks like demolition to me. Shot in a scrap yard in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

One day I was leaving my Manhattan apartment to go to a creative meeting with a band. I had several album covers under my arm and I met one of the other tenants coming into the building.

He saw the album covers under my arm with a Ramones album cover that I made on top.

“Are you a Remones fan?”

“Sort of”, I replied. “I do their covers”.

He said, “I need an album cover”.

Most people know Michael Monroe as the saxophone player and frontman of “Hanoi Rocks”. It turned out the Michael was my upstairs neighbour.

I worked on the Demolition 23 album project that was produced by Little Steven van Zant and the album was only released in Japan.

It was fun working on this album project. The booklet for the CD was 24 pages as each song had to have lyrics in English and Japanese…
